Reem Bahdi is the Dean of the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, marking a historic first for Canada. She holds a Professor rank and leads initiatives advancing social justice, human rights, and legal education. Her roles include membership on the board of governors of the International Association of Law Schools (2024) and the Independent Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments (2023). Bahdi has championed the establishment of the Chair in Palestinian Human Rights Studies through a $1.2M gift (2024) and oversees the Class Action Clinic, which secured significant settlements. She was honored for her commitment to Arab community advocacy (2023) and plays key roles in institutional transformations, including the reimagined Moot Court and land dedication ceremonies honoring Indigenous ancestors (2021).
