Reece Torres is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he joined the faculty in 2023 as a SUNY PRODiG fellow within the College of Arts and Sciences.

His publications reveal consistent focus on systemic inequalities, analyzing neoliberal impacts on graduate education and racial dynamics in cases like Trayvon Martin's death. This work bridges theoretical frameworks with urgent social justice concerns.
