Dr. Reda Felfel is a Lecturer in Composites Sustainability at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Strathclyde. He holds a PhD in Materials Engineering (Polymer Composites) from the University of Nottingham and has 8 years of experience as a research fellow in advanced materials. His research focuses on sustainable polymers, biomaterials, and composites for aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and renewable energy sectors. He pioneered a patented thermomechanical forging method for 3D composite manufacturing and advocates for bio-based materials and circular economy approaches.
