Rebekka Schlichting is an enrolled member of the Ioway Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska, an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, and an adjunct professor at Nebraska Indian Community College. She specializes in Indigenous storytelling, ethics, and multimedia journalism while leading cultural initiatives such as the KU Native Storytelling Workshop and the Ioway Tribe Annual Powwow.
