Molly Adams serves as a Workshop Instructor at the University of Kansas and works as a photojournalist/news operations coordinator for The Lawrence Times, where she developed an Indigenous beat to address historical coverage gaps in Lawrence. She is concurrently a master's student in the Indigenous Studies Program at the University of Kansas.
Her educational background includes:

- Current Master's candidate in Indigenous Studies at the University of Kansas
Adams' research centers on photojournalism with emphasis on Indigenous media representation and participatory photography methodologies. Her thesis project directly confronts biased media portrayals of unhoused communities in Lawrence through community-engaged visual storytelling, aiming to establish equitable representation standards in local journalism.
