Dr. Rebekka Rieser is a Researcher at the University of Zurich's Institute of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ) and the Research Center for Public Opinion and Society (fög). Her work focuses on digital religion, neo-institutionalism, and the intersection of religion with media and public discourse. She holds a doctoral degree from the University of Lucerne, where she researched religious organizations' legitimacy among Croatian Catholic communities in Germany and Switzerland.
