Rebekka Krauß is a Researcher at the Chair of Social Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities, University of Bayreuth. Her work focuses on literacy, child labor, and Latin American studies, particularly in Bolivia and Benin. She is involved in the interdisciplinary cluster project EXC 2052 'Africa Multiple' and has extensive experience in social work, education, and international collaborations.

Her 2023 publication examines bureaucratic literacy processes in Benin and Bolivia, reflecting her focus on sociocultural challenges in urban environments. She has contributed to edited volumes on human rights, Roma discrimination, and international social work practices.
