Dr. Rebecca Wood is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Glasgow, specializing in autism, education, and inclusion. She leads the Autistic School Staff Project, funded by the John and Lorna Wing Foundation, and has held prior roles including Research Fellow at King’s College London and Senior Lecturer at the University of East London. Her work emphasizes valuing multi-modal communication, strengths-based approaches, and neurodiversity-inclusive policies across educational settings.
Education: PhD from the University of Birmingham, with earlier degrees from the Universities of Edinburgh and Oxford. Key research focuses include autistic communication, school community acceptance, and international educational inclusion.
