Rebecca Simone Schorsch is a Teaching Professor of Voice and Program Director of Classical Voice and Musical Theatre at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University. A renowned voice educator, she trains singers across classical, musical theater, and commercial styles, with students excelling in opera, Broadway, academia, and entertainment industries.
- Education: B.M. in Vocal Performance from Roosevelt University; M.A. with Distinction in Applied and Professional Ethics from the University of Leeds
Her research explores ethics in performing arts and studio teaching, as well as the Disney vocal style in media. Ms. Schorsch has taught at institutions including the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and the University of Colorado-Boulder, and her performance career spans classical and musical theater repertoires.
