Mark Crayton is a countertenor, conductor, director, and voice teacher at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA), where he has served as a full-time faculty member since 2009. He also conducts the CCPA Chorale and Choir, and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church ensembles.
- Education: Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Butler University, Master's candidate at University of Tennessee Knoxville, Certificate from Akademie voor Oude Muziek Amsterdam.
His research and performance interests focus on Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, and Baroque Vocal Music, with particular expertise in oratorios, operas, and concert works by composers such as Handel, Philip Glass, and John Kander. He has performed globally and developed a reputation for Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, which he has performed 178 times.

As an educator, Crayton teaches voice at CCPA and maintains a private studio, emphasizing individualized technique over standardized methods. His students perform internationally in opera houses, musical theater, and concert venues.
