Rebecca Morris

Dr. Rebecca Morris is a Research Fellow in the NIHR Greater Manchester Primary Care Patient Safety Translational Research Centre at the University of Manchester. Her work addresses patient safety in primary care settings, health inequalities, and long-term condition management.

Research focuses on:

• Patient safety in general practice
• Social networks in chronic illness management
• Impact of loneliness on health management
• Community support systems

She leads projects on patient involvement in safety initiatives and access optimization in primary care. Recent publications investigate healthcare provision for marginalized groups and co-designed safety interventions.

She co-supervises doctoral students in diabetes prevention and safety engagement research.
