Rebecca Miller, PhD is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University's School of Medicine and Director of Peer Support & Family Initiatives at the Connecticut Mental Health Center. Her research focuses on recovery-oriented care, peer support integration, and systems transformation in mental health services. Dr. Miller holds leadership roles including Editor-in-Chief of the Community Mental Health Journal and membership in Yale's Dean's Advisory Council for LGBTQI Affairs.
Education: PhD in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University (2006), BA from Barnard College (1997). Professional training includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale School of Medicine (2005).
Key research interests include mental health advocacy, deprescribing practices in psychiatry, and structural barriers to citizenship for individuals with mental illness.
