Rebecca Lowenhaupt is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership & Higher Education at Boston College's Lynch School of Education and Human Development. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an Ed.M. from Harvard University, and an A.B. from Harvard College. Her research focuses on K-12 school reform, education policy, immigrant education, and leadership for equity, particularly in contexts of shifting demographics and policy climates.

She has authored/co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles and two books, including Parenting in the Pandemic: The Collision of School, Work, and Life at Home (2021).
Awards: Notable recognitions include the Journal of Educational Administration Outstanding Paper Award (2015), Spencer Dissertation Fellowship (2009-2010), and Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University (2010-2011).
