Scott Seider, a Professor at Boston College's Lynch School of Education and Human Development, specializes in applied developmental psychology with a focus on how schools foster civic development and critical consciousness in marginalized youth. He earned his Ed.D. from Harvard University and previously taught at Boston University and Boston Public Schools. His research examines pedagogical models that support students' awareness of systemic oppression and their academic resilience.
