Rebecca Kiderlen is an academic staff member at the University of Tübingen, affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy and the Seminar for General Rhetoric. Her research focuses on political rhetoric, argumentation theory, and topoi analysis, particularly in the context of asylum policy debates in Germany and Sweden. She has contributed to methodological advancements in rhetorical topos analysis and explored comparative perspectives on migration politics and humanitarian discourse.
Her work includes publications on parliamentary debates, moral argumentation, and rhetorical strategies. She has presented at international conferences such as the International Society for the Study of Argumentation (ISSA) and the International Society for the History of Rhetoric (ISHR). Kiderlen teaches courses on political communication, topos analysis, and rhetoric of social conflict, reflecting her expertise in discourse analysis and strategic communication.
