Rebecca Jones is a Senior Lecturer Practitioner and Deputy Head of School in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), with a focus on Crime and Investigative Studies. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science and has over 15 years of experience as a Crime Scene Investigator across two police forces. Her expertise spans forensic science, CSI trauma, DNA techniques, and forensic wellbeing initiatives.

- PG Certificate (HE), Anglia Ruskin University
Research Interests: Prioritizes CSI wellbeing, advanced DNA techniques (Bluestar, luminol), bloodstain pattern analysis, and cognitive bias mitigation in crime scene examination. She also advocates for service canines and fire service personnel wellbeing through her work with the Forensic Capability Network.
Grants & Projects: Lead the Anglia Learning & Teaching Award project developing a crime scene assist mobile app for student training, now adopted nationally by police and HE institutions.
