Rebecca Hamilton is the Michael G. and Robin Psaros Chair in Business Administration, Vice Dean of Faculty, and Professor of Marketing at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business. As Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Marketing Research, her research examines contextual influences on consumer decisions, including social environments and resource constraints. She earned her Ph.D. from MIT Sloan School of Management (2000).
Recognized with the Erin Anderson Award (2011) and MSI Young Scholar designation (2007), she has held editorial roles at leading journals including Journal of Consumer Research. Her work appears in Harvard Business Review and MIT Sloan Management Review, informing practices in behavioral marketing and consumer psychology.
