Rebecca Hadley is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Hertfordshire's Research and Innovation Hub, collaborating with the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System to align research with community health priorities. She leads the Parkinson’s Research Outreach Network (PRONET) steering group, focusing on co-developing inclusive Parkinson’s research initiatives. Her work spans post-doctoral research roles since 2022, involving NHS Trusts, charities, and patient/public involvement (PPI).
- Education: PhD in Psychology (2022, UH), MSc Clinical Psychology (Distinction), BSc Psychology (First Class)
Research focuses on long-term health conditions, qualitative methodologies, and physical activity’s role in wellbeing. Notable projects include hypertension case-finding pilots, dementia social connectivity studies, and Parkinson’s dance intervention evaluations. She co-leads the PRONET initiative fostering community-academic partnerships.
