Rebecca Day is a PhD candidate in Bilingualism at Bangor University's Department of Linguistics, English Language and Bilingualism. She holds a Tutor position in the School of Arts, Culture and Language. Her research focuses on bilingual language development in individuals with Rett syndrome, particularly exploring preserved speech variants and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) implementation. She collaborates with Rett UK to support families and individuals affected by the condition.
