Rebecca Bolt

Rebecca Bolt is a Lecturer in Financial Accounting at the School of Business and Management, Royal Holloway, University of London, where she has worked since January 2021. Her research focuses on stakeholder inclusivity and equity in social/environmental accounting, with an emphasis on critical perspectives.

Research Highlights: She investigates alternative stakeholder engagement methods, political potential of counter accounts, storytelling in accounting, and social movements. Her work intersects with the UN Sustainable Development Goals through sustainability and equity frameworks.

Recent Trends: Analysis of political activism through accounting narratives (Irish reproductive rights), materiality determination in corporate contexts, and stakeholder inclusivity in integrated reporting. These works demonstrate her focus on critical accounting applications to social justice and sustainability.
