Rebecca Andersen is an Assistant Professor at Shenandoah University, located in the Health Professions Building. She earned her Pharm.D. from Wingate University and completed residency training at Virginia Hospital Center.
Her research examines bleeding risks in AML patients undergoing anticoagulation therapy and NOAC applications in oncology. She co-authored an ACCP white paper on pharmacy technician utilization and published on pharmacogenomic approaches to supportive cancer care.
Awards include recognition from the American Institute of the History of Pharmacy and Wake Forest Baptist Scholar designation. Her work bridges clinical pharmacy practice with pharmacogenomic research to optimize cancer patient care.
