Raymond G Najjar

Raymond G Najjar serves as Professor of Oceanography in the Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science at Pennsylvania State University's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, holding the Wilson Faculty Fellow endowed position with a joint appointment in the Department of Geosciences. His research focuses on climate oceanography, biogeochemical cycling, and coastal system responses to environmental change.

His primary research interests include climate change impacts on coastal systems, carbon cycling in estuaries and continental shelves, hypoxia dynamics, and ocean-atmosphere interactions.
