Raya Lindberg

Raya Lindberg is a Research Professor at ERG (École de Recherche Graphique) in Belgium and affiliated with the LARSH Research Laboratory - DeScripto Department at UPHF de Valenciennes in France. She also teaches at Université catholique de Lille. Her academic work bridges artistic practice and theoretical research across international contexts.

Her primary research interests focus on textual creation, transdisciplinary methodologies, and the relationship between fine arts and performing arts. Lindberg's work explores how artistic practices intersect with spatial theory, territorial politics, and embodied knowledge. She develops theoretical frameworks through direct collaboration with artists as a dramaturg and curator, examining how creative processes can generate new forms of knowledge production.

Lindberg's publication history reveals a consistent focus on territoriality, spatial practices, and the staging of contemporary art. Her recent work demonstrates increasing engagement with cross-cultural dialogues, particularly between European and non-European artistic traditions, while maintaining theoretical rigor in examining how artistic practices intervene in social and spatial contexts.
