Rasmus Magni Johannsen is an Assistant Professor at Aalborg University's Department of Sustainability and Planning, part of The Technical Faculty of IT and Design. His research focuses on sustainable energy planning, energy system modeling, and renewable energy transitions, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as affordable and clean energy (SDG7) and climate action (SDG13). He leads or participates in projects like CARMA-Green Fuels and Planning and Modelling of Local Integrated Energy Systems, emphasizing municipal energy systems and scenario development.
