Rashmi Singla

Rashmi Singla is an Associate Professor at the Department of People and Technology, Roskilde University. She is affiliated with the Childhood, Youth and Family Life Research Centre for Gender, Power and Diversity. Her primary research focuses on psychosocial aspects of migration, transnationalism, diaspora communities, and inclusion/exclusion processes. She explores intersections between Eastern and Western psychological practices, including meditation and organizational diversity management. Singla holds an MSc and PhD in Psychology.

She has taught at various academic levels using social contextual and cultural psychology frameworks, emphasizing qualitative research methods. Her teaching extends to Interdisciplinary Health Promotion studies. Singla has collaborated internationally, with recent projects in Russia (via Erasmus+ programs) and multiple countries through transnational research networks.
