Rasa Jämsen is a University Teacher of Communication at the University of Jyväskylä's Department of Language and Communication Studies, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She is finalizing her PhD on technology-mediated communication in remote work and is a member of the CoCoDigi research group, which studies digital platform collaboration. Her teaching includes supervising Bachelor's theses in Communication Studies.

Key interests include communication technology norms, virtual/physical workplace dynamics, and datafication in media organizations via the DataMedia project.
