Dr. Raquel Rial Otero is a full-time researcher affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Vigo. She works in the Department of Analytical and Food Chemistry, focusing on nutrition and bromatology research within the Institute of Agroecology and Food. Her work is conducted at the Ourense campus.
She is associated with the F&Homics research group dedicated to Food and Health Omics. Her doctoral research from 2004 addressed agricultural and environmental implications of fungicide use in vineyards under the guidance of Dr. Jesús Simal Gándara and Dr. Beatriz Cancho Grande.
