Beatriz Cancho Grande

Beatriz Cancho Grande is a full-time University Professor at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Vigo, specializing in Analytical and Food Chemistry. She is affiliated with the Institute of Agroecology and Food and works within the F&Homics (Food and Health Omics) research group.

• Education: PhD from the University of Barcelona (2000) with a thesis on disinfection by-products in water purification.

Her research focuses on food chemistry, environmental chemistry, and health-related omics, with a particular emphasis on analytical methods for food and water safety. She is based at the Ourense campus.
