Raphaëlle Burns is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), affiliated with the Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies within the UCLA College. She holds the prestigious Charles Speroni Chair. Her research focuses on ethics, knowledge transmission, and case-thinking in medieval and early modern European literature, with a particular emphasis on the intersections of literature, law, medicine, and journalism.
