Raphael Sassower

Raphael (Raphi) Sassower, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), where he has been teaching since 1986. He is affiliated with the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.

Education:

• Double major in Economics and Philosophy from Lake Forest College
• MA and PhD in the Philosophy of Science from Boston University

Research Interests span interdisciplinary domains including postmodern technoscience, political economy (focusing on capitalism and slavery), and philosophy of education. His work integrates critical theory with contemporary societal challenges.
