Raphael Cormack

Dr. Raphael Cormack is an Assistant Professor in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University. His research focuses on Arabic literature and cultural history, particularly the performing arts and entertainment industries in the modern Middle East. He specializes in Egyptian cultural history, gender studies, and the translation of classical works into Arabic contexts.

His research interests include:
