Raoul Frese is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science, VU University Amsterdam, where he leads the Biohybrid Solar Cells workgroup. His research bridges biophysics, electrochemistry, and sustainable energy technology, focusing on photosynthetic membranes, biohybrid solar cells, and artscience collaborations with artists and designers.
