Raoukka Katerina

Dr. Katerina Raoukka serves as Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics, University of Cyprus since 2020. Previously, she held the Senior Lecturer position at the University of Bristol (until 2020), where she also served as Lead Senior Tutor and Deputy Head of Teaching. She earned her PhD in Economics from Cardiff University (2013). Her primary affiliations include the School of Economics and Management, where she oversees the department's website since 2023 and participates in multiple committees.

Research interests focus on pedagogical methods for teaching economics tailored to Generation Z, alongside macroeconomic theory. She has pioneered course reforms in macroeconomic theory through KEDIMA Teaching Inventions funding (2021-22), and currently teaches ECO121, ECO310, and supports advanced courses in econometrics and micro/macroeconomics. Recognitions include two Best Teaching nominations and Higher Education Academy Fellowship.
