Randi G. Pleskow is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and an Attending Physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Boston Children’s Hospital. She specializes in pediatric gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, and Wilson’s Disease. Dr. Pleskow’s clinical practice focuses on abdominal pain, food allergies, and gastrointestinal disorders in adolescents.
Her education includes a BS from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1978) and an MD from SUNY Buffalo (1982). She completed residency and fellowship training at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital (Cleveland, OH) and Boston Children’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA). She holds certifications in Pediatrics (General and Gastroenterology) from the American Board of Pediatrics.
Her research and publications address eosinophilic gastroenterocolitis in liver transplant patients, Wilson’s Disease, and gastrointestinal health in adolescents. She contributes to programs like the Celiac Disease Program and the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center.
