Randall Hutto serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Political Science at Cumberland University's Millard and JJ Oakley School of Humanities, Education and the Arts. He holds a B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University and an M.A. plus 30 hours in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University.
His career spans education, athletics, and public service. After teaching U.S. History, Math, and Physical Education at Lebanon High School for 18 years, he served as Assistant Director of Schools for the Lebanon Special School District. He became Wilson County Mayor in 2010, a role he held through subsequent elections. Hutto has coached football and basketball, leading the Blue Devils Boys’ Varsity Basketball team for 12 years. He remains active in local chambers of commerce in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, and Watertown.
