Ramtin Hadidi is an Associate Professor in the Holcombe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University, College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences (CECAS), USA. Prior to his current role, he served as a Research Scientist at the Duke Energy eGRID Center at CURI in Charleston and as a Research Professor in the ECE Department at Clemson. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (2012) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering (2007) from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (2004) from K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran.
Research Focus: Dr. Hadidi specializes in power and energy systems, with expertise in modeling and simulation, distribution systems planning, and power system stability. His work addresses the integration, testing, and standardization of distributed renewable generation sources, energy storage technologies, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. He actively develops test software and hardware solutions for power system applications.
Awards and Professional Activities: He has received the prestigious Khwarizmi International Award (KIA) for his research. Dr. Hadidi is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the IEEE Power & Energy Society, contributing to advancements in electrical engineering and renewable energy technologies.
