Ramin Jaberi

Professor Ramin Jaberi is affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Science (TUMS) in Iran, where he serves as Head of Physics of Radiotherapy at Yas Hospital within the Cancer Institute of TUMS. With over 20 years of experience in Brachytherapy, he treats more than 750 patients annually and teaches radiation oncology residents and medical physics students.

His research focuses on Brachytherapy for gynecological, head & neck, skin, and eye cancers, alongside advancing 3D in vivo dosimetry for adaptive radiotherapy. He collaborates with Dr. Annika Lohstroh and Dr. Shakardokht Jafari at the Department of Physics, University of Surrey, on a project targeting high-resolution dosimetry in modern radiotherapy.

He is an active member of GEC-ESTRO’s subgroups in GYN, Physics, and Head & Neck, Skin, Eye cancers, emphasizing his role in clinical and technical advancements in radiation oncology.
