Tarun Podder

Tarun Podder is Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He directs the Physics Residency Program and participates in the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center's Cancer Imaging Program.

Research focuses on image-guided radiotherapy, brachytherapy robotics, stereotactic body radiation therapy, and motion management. He chairs the AAPM Working Group on Robotic Brachytherapy and contributes to international guidelines on image-guided brachytherapy.

Recent publications explore AI applications in radiation therapy, curvilinear catheter designs for prostate brachytherapy, and medical physics innovations. Clinical interests include prostate cancer, lung cancer, and head/neck cancer treatments.
