Ramin Baghai is a Professor of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) and holds affiliations with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), and Swedish House of Finance (SHoF). He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from London Business School. His research focuses on corporate credit markets, asset management, corporate governance, and intersections of labor economics with finance.
Baghai has published in top journals like the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies, addressing topics such as bankruptcy dynamics, credit rating agencies, and labor market impacts of financial distress. His work has been cited in major media like The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg.
