Dr. Rami Tawil is a Senior Lecturer and Course Director in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Coventry University London, part of the College of Business and Law. He holds a PhD in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Manchester Metropolitan University (2008), an MA from Bournemouth University (2001), and a BA in Hotel Management from ASU, Jordan (1999). With extensive experience in both academia and the hospitality industry, including managerial roles in 5-star hotels, Dr. Tawil brings a strong applied perspective to his teaching and research.

His work emphasizes qualitative and exploratory approaches to understanding consumer motivations and service performance in hospitality contexts.
The recent publications reflect a consistent focus on consumer decision-making in tourism, with particular attention to job satisfaction in hotels, cultural perceptions among Chinese tourists, and the classification of spa tourists. These studies highlight interdisciplinary themes in marketing, behavioral science, and service management within the global hospitality sector.

Dr. Tawil has supervised dissertation and internship projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His professional engagements include serving as an international moderator for PSB Singapore and RenaSup France, and as a manuscript reviewer for several academic journals.
He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a member of the International Tourism Research Information Network (TRINET) at the University of Hawaii. He has also facilitated leadership and team-building workshops for the Petra Development & Tourism Region Authority under USAID.
