Raluca Parvulescu is an Associate Professor of Economics at the IÉSEG School of Management, affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and the LEM (Laboratory of Economics and Management). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Lille 1, France. Her research focuses on industrial organization, agricultural economics, and productivity analysis, with a particular emphasis on market competition, resource allocation, and policy evaluation.
Dr. Parvulescu’s work spans theoretical and applied economics, including studies on price-quantity competition in duopolies, inflation impacts on agricultural productivity, and performance measurement in utilities. Her contributions to journals like the Journal of Economics & Management Strategy and European Journal of Operational Research reflect her expertise in econometric modeling and decomposition analysis.
She teaches courses in industrial economics, corporate strategy, and microeconomic analysis at the IÉSEG’s Grande École programs.
