Dr. Ralf Helbig is a researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden, specializing in polymer biomaterials and surface engineering. He earned his Diploma in Physics (2006) and PhD in Chemistry (2013) from the Technical University of Dresden. His work focuses on evaluating bioadhesion at micro- to nano-scaled interfaces and developing biomimetic low-adhesive surfaces using soft lithography, nano-imprint, and thin-layer coating techniques.
