Rajiv R. Ratan is a Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Burke Neurological Institute and an affiliate Associate Dean. He holds the Burke Professorship and is affiliated with the Brain and Mind Research Institute. His expertise spans neuroprotection, stroke recovery, and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's.
Education: B.A. in Neuroscience (Magna Cum Laude) from Amherst College (1981), M.D. and Ph.D. from New York University School of Medicine (1988).
