Raimund Tenhaken

Dr. Raimund Tenhaken is a Professor at the University of Salzburg's Department of Environment & Biodiversity, part of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences. His research focuses on plant cell wall biosynthesis mechanisms, particularly UDP-glucuronic acid pathways and sugar recycling. He employs molecular genetics, CRISPR-Cas knockouts, HPLC analysis, and confocal microscopy in his work. Tenhaken teaches plant biology modules including Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Herbicide studies at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His lab is located at Hellbrunnerstrasse 34, room DE.014 in Salzburg.
