Dr. Rafi Chowdhury serves as an Associate Professor at Bond Business School, Bond University, actively supervising PhD students in ethical consumption and marketing ethics research. His academic journey includes a PhD in Marketing from the University of Alberta (2006), MBA from the University of Kansas (2001), and BBA from the University of Dhaka (1997).
His research focuses on ethical consumption, consumer social responsibility, and marketing/advertising ethics, with particular emphasis on moral emotions, cultural values, and religiosity/spirituality. Current work examines awe-inspiring visual content for ethical fashion engagement, religiosity's impact on LGBTQ+ advertising perceptions, and mindfulness in sustainable consumer behavior.
