Dr. R. Matuszewski is an Assistant Professor in Ancient History at the Institute for History, Leiden University, Netherlands. He holds a PhD from Heidelberg (2017) and has held academic positions at the University of Salzburg (2017–2023) and a Junior Fellowship at the University of Bern. His research spans Greek and Roman religion, social and cultural history, historical anthropology, and history of sexuality, with a focus on material culture and epigraphy.
