Rafal Sitko

Rafal Sitko is an Assistant Professor at the Edinburgh Business School, part of Heriot-Watt University's School of Social Sciences. He specializes in Sustainable Human Resource Management (HRM), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and intersectionality. As the Global Programme Director for the MA in International Business Administration, he teaches Sustainable HRM and has authored a textbook on the subject. His research explores long-term social, environmental, and business goals through ethical HR practices.

His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those addressing inequality and sustainability. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Academic Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Sitko is actively involved in supervising PhD students focusing on sustainable HRM and DEI topics.
