Research Context
Citron explores the tension between preserving tangible industrial heritage through adaptive reuse and addressing its intangible social and cultural impacts. She participated in the session Stop gentrification. Adaptive reuse for social housing purposes, discussing socio-economic implications of industrial site conversions in the UK, Europe, and North America. Her work intersects architectural conservation, urban planning, and strategies to counter gentrification through socially conscious housing developments.
