Rafael da Mota

Rafael da Mota serves as a Researcher at the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics (LMFA - UMR 5509), affiliated with Central School of Lyon. He is an active member of the Turbulence & Instabilities research team, contributing to the laboratory's mission of advancing fundamental and applied knowledge in fluid mechanics.

His research focuses on complex fluid phenomena, particularly turbulence characterization and modeling approaches, flow instability mechanisms across multiple scales, and computational fluid dynamics applications.
