Emmanuel Jondeau

Emmanuel Jondeau is a CNRS Researcher at Ecole Centrale de Lyon and the Laboratoire de Mécanique des Fluides et d’Acoustique (LMFA UMR-CNRS 5509). He leads the LDV-PDA instrumentation platform, specializing in experimental fluid mechanics and acoustics. His role involves managing advanced measurement techniques such as Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV), and Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA). His research focuses on fluid dynamics, turbulence, and aeroacoustics, with applications in environmental flows and engineering systems.

He is affiliated with the Acoustics team at LMFA and contributes to projects involving experimental methodologies for studying complex flows. His expertise includes instrumentation development and data analysis for multiphysical and multi-phase flows. Recent work involves cavitation dynamics, flow instability analysis, and active flow control.
